Australian Conditions and Thorough Testing

One key aspect that sets Mahindra apart is its dedication to designing, developing, and testing safety technologies specifically tailored for Australian conditions. Eastside Mahindra has previously written about how Mahindra locally developed the new Scorpio, giving an insight into its dedication here.

Further than just nuts and bolts testing of parts within the chassis and suspension, there is importance for testing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on Australia’s unique roads. This testing will ensure that things like adaptive cruise control and lane detection are tailored for use to Australian designed roads, which can differ from roads in other markets.

This testing process includes gathering road data and developing system software for it, and is a very complex task requiring months of work and expertise, which Mahindra is investing heavily into.
